World Famous Lover

Vijay Devarakonda’s tryst with love stories continues as he is set to entertain audience with a similar genre in World Famous Lover which is releasing this Friday amid decent expectations.
 

Director K. Kranthi Madhav who is known for making sensible films, this time shocks audience with his bold version of urbane couple in initial episodes. The liberal usage of F word by the heroine and hero doesn’t appear out of the place.

World Famous Lover has a different story line, Good first half and notable performances. But the exhausted second half makes the audience bore.

The youth sensation Vijay Deverakonda has come up with another movie. Touted to be an intense romantic entertainer, ‘World Famous Lover’ helmed by Kranthi Madhav has Raashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, Catherine Tresa, and Izabelle Leite. 

At places, Vijay Deverakonda seemed like repeating his ‘Arjun Reddy’ act but he definitely has given his best for the different roles he had enacted – that of a writer, a coal mine worker, and a charming business executive.

Director Kranthi Madhav impressed us with a meaningful love story ‘Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju’ which starred Sharwanand and Nithya Menon.

‘వరల్డ్ ఫేమస్ లవర్’లో మనం తెర మీద చూసే కథనే హీరో ఒక కథగా రాస్తాడు. ఆ కథ చదివి హీరో ఫ్రెండు కన్నీళ్లు పెట్టేసుకుంటాడు. ఆ ఫ్రెండుతో పాటు అతడి తండ్రి కూడా ఆ కథకు ఫిదా అయిపోతాడు. లక్షలు ఖర్చు పెట్టి పుస్తకం ప్రచురిస్తాడు. 

‘వరల్డ్ ఫేమస్ లవర్’లో మంచి మూమెంట్స్ లేవని కాదు. ముఖ్యంగా బొగ్గు గనుల నేపథ్యంలో సాగే ఒక ఎపిసోడ్ నడుస్తున్నంతసేపు ‘వరల్డ్ ఫేమస్ లవర్’ ప్రత్యేకమైన సినిమాలాగే కనిపిస్తుంది. క్రాంతి మాధవ్ ఈ ఎపిసోడ్ వరకు రచయితగా దర్శకుడిగా తన నైపుణ్యం చూపించాడు.

విజయ్ దేవరకొండ తానెంత గొప్ప పెర్ఫామరో మరోసారి రుజువు చేశాడు. సినిమాలో అతడి పాత్ర అనేక రకాలుగా కనిపిస్తుంది. లుక్స్ విషయంలోనే కాదు.. నటన పరంగానూ అతను వైవిధ్యం చూపించాడు.

Vijay Deverakonda delivers impressive performance and above him, aishwarya rajesh and rashi khanna compete and present extraordinary emotional acts that surprise.   

kranthi madhav has this time gone for an absurd love story focusing on lust as well and with absurd Characterization, he gets support only from the powerful performances of vijay Deverakonda, aishwarya rajesh and Raashi Khanna. 

Every second, million of stories unfold on this planet, each different from the other, says the lead character of World Famous Lover, right at the start of the film.

As soon as the film begins, we are introduced to the story of Gautham (Vijay Deverakonda) and Yamini (Raashi Khanna), a young couple in a live-in relationship. But things are far from rosy.

A small-town mine worker's romance with an upmarket, sophisticated lady, although fictional, seems unrealistic. But Seenayya's story is the only thing that stands out in World Famous Lover. 

Gautam(Vijay Devarakonda) is a struggling writer who lives in his own world. He ignores his girlfriend Yamini(Raashi Khanna) completely. After a point of time, Yamini gets very upset and breaks up with him.

As always, Vijay Devarakonda does a superb job in his role. He as the struggling writer is okay but Vijay is superb as Seenayya, the Singareni employee. 

The film has various issues and these slowly come out in the second half. There was absolutely no need to showcase Vijay in such an intense avatar. His get up and some moments remind us of Arjun Reddy instantly.
