Raahu

One of the biggest assets of the film is the heroine Kriti Garg. She plays the central role and is top notch with her performance. She had to do a lot in her role and the new actress carried it with ease and perfection.

The director did not make use of the content well and made the film dull in many areas. There were many moments in the film which could have been elevated to create good emotion but the director failed to do so.

On the whole, Raahu is a film with a unique concept and has very few thrills and emotions that click. The rest of the narration and execution of scenes are bland in the first half. 

Looks like thrillers seem to be Tollywood’s new favourite genre if the movies being churned by the industry are anything to go by. But most of the films under the genre are awfully reminiscent of content from other languages. 

Bhanu and Sesh’s love track is weak and a drag. The chemistry between the lead pair is more fizzle than bang and the ‘kaam dev baba’ comedy track will make you lose your calm.

The execution and production values are a major issue with Raahu. Director Subbu should’ve worked a little more on the way he narrated the story because he squandered away a good opportunity.
