Valmiki Title Changed to Gaddalakonda Ganesh

Varun Tej and Pooja Hegde starring in the most anticipated film Valmiki is directed by Harish Shankar. Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta produced this film under 14 Reels Plus Banner. On the occasion of the movie release on September 20th, The Valmiki committee members and Boya community members filed a police complaint against the movie title Valmiki. They accused Director Harish Shankar and the producers for making a violent film in the name of sage Maharshi Valmiki.

Director Harish Shankar said "There have been protests from some committee members since the announcement of the title Valmiki. After all, our team has nowhere shown threatening Valmiki. We believed that they will definitely change their opinion after watching Valmiki film. Also, if there are any objections, the sensor will come on. Censor board members watched the movie and cleared the objections. About 200 technicians working on the film with a cost of 30-40 crores, not to criticize a single person or a committee. The film has two great dialogues about Valmiki Maharishi. My father called me for the first time to appreciate the movie title. This disturbing view of the film is a little distressing. We are changing the title Valmiki to Gaddalakonda Ganesh."
