Short films for a big cause

After the advent of social media and other technology goodies, making films has become the norm in the society. Recognising the untapped potential of the small screens and video streaming sites (like Youtube and Vimeo), several big names have ventured into the medium. Supposedly, Jr.N.T.R and Vijay Devarakonda are also going to be seen in a few short films campaigning for the social awareness of Hyderabad citizens. The Hyderabad police are currently bringing out a few short films to address and caution its citizens about issues like Job frauds, multi-level marketing, OTP misuse, cyberbullying, misleading jobs and matrimonial atrocities. None other than Jakkanna, S.S.Rajamouli is going to be directing the short films and the 5 of them are already done the shooting. Seems like, Telangana government officials are fusing entertainment with social consciousness to bring out a mass response from its citizens.

Recently the World Telugu Conference held by Telangana government has also roped in a huge number of Tollywood celebrities to promote the event.
