Rama Lakshmi and Her 100% Love

The much-awaited Ram Charan and Samantha’s Rangastalam hit the screens on Apr’30 and became a blockbuster as expected. The Sukumar directorial brought a new trend in Tollywood and receiving appreciations from the moviegoers and film industry as well.

Marking the success of her latest flick, Rama Lakshmi (Samantha’s character in Rangastalam) shared few interesting things about the movie and her 100% love with Naga Chaitanya. 

Doing Rama Lakshmi Role:

I’m happy for being a part of such a good movie. Doing Rama Lakshmi character is a challenge for me as I never did such role before. I was just surprised after watching the entire movie. Rama Lakshmi will be a landmark role in my carrier.    

He’s a lovely co-star

Working with Ram Charan is amazing. He’s a lovely co-star that supports all other cameos. Doing a movie like Rangastalam is difficult. Everyone in the movie was undergone into physical stress while shooting at Rajahmundry in the hot sun.

Chaitu is a motivation for me

Give your best and leave it. We can’t control the audience emotions; Chaitu says this whenever I feel tense before my movie release. Before that, I used to be much tensed about the output. 

It’s a planned trip

We have not even gone for a honeymoon after our marriage. I just took three days off and started on my work. After completing three projects in March, we decided to take a vacation.   

It’s a wrong perception of filmmakers

The audience never felt bad watching me on screen after my marriage. It’s just a wrong perception of the filmmakers and that’s need to be changed. I hope the success of Rangastalam proved it.

How I choose my roles

I may not be seen in namesake roles from now. I’m choosing roles carefully that would enhance my career.

Shocked by seeing it

While narrating Rangastalam script, the director Sukumar told only about my role and not the entire script. I was just thrilled after watching the entire movie.
