Regular Is Away From My Dictionary - Samantha

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha paired up for the first time after their wedding in the film Majili. Samantha spoke to the media about the movie and her personal life.

The first film after marriage, Was it hard to be a professional on the set?

It is ok from Chaitu's side, but from my side it is tough. Before I used to see only my performance. But in the film 'Majali,' I used to see Chaitu's more than mine."

Have you chosen the correct story for this film after marriage?

I do not like doing movies together. Expectations will be more, and the audience could not be satisfied easily. Majili is a different story. There is a beauty and secured feeling in love after marriage.

Are you doing this character feel easy?

There will be a motto in my life. I want to be better than yesterday. Tomorrow should be better than yesterday. Compared to my previous films, There will be some layer in this film. I am doing Shravani's character. She does not speak too much but gives strength to the family. That feels me a bit challenging.

Will be talking about the performances after the shoot?

We talk when we come home. He played an intense character Purna. I had to support him every day. The climax has come very well.

Is this story emotional?

Each love story has the same feelings. The emotions between Purna and Sravani are significant. The film will be successful if the audience gets attached to the characters.

About Super deluxe success?

People are reacting very positively on my character what I did not expect. Because the character is so bold, I thought I would be trolled. That film was a challenging role for me. 

These days ladies are not fixed to glamourous roles?

True, They are not fixed to dances. Actresses also want to prove their talent on the screen. 

Will you be ready to make commercial films now?

I am very lazy at this stage now. I just wanted to do a quality and performance-based films. I don't want to do 5 or 6 movies; only one quality film is enough.

Why your opinion changed on doing commercial films after marriage?

Super Deluxe is also a commercial film. I did not mention regularly. Regular is not in my dictionary now. Now I will do the movie with challenging roles.

Tell us about Chaitanya's performance?

Even I was shocked in some shots by watching his performance.

Will You Appreciate Him?

If he does well, I will apprentice. Otherwise not.

Is it a 1980's story?

It happened in 1990. This movie has love and pain.

O Baby is in post-production works and will release this summer. 96 in Telugu

Want to do any films?

I will connect more t sports-based films. I want to do a sports biopic.

Will you enter Bollywood?

They decided that I will not enter.
