"Proud to be a Telugu woman" - Manchu Lakshmi

The prestigious Nandi awards have once again been announced for the consecutive years of 2014,15 and 16 and Manchu Lakshmi bagged a Nandi again. For her mesmerizing performance as an antagonist in Anaganaga Oka Dhirudu, Lakshmi received her first Nandi. Also for her performance in Praveen Sattaru’s Chandamam Kathalu, Manchu Lakshmi received the best-supporting-actress award from the state government. The film unit expressed their joy over Manchu Lakshmi receiving the award.

Manchu Lakshmi herself was thrilled to have received the award and said she’s proud to be a Telugu woman. Lakshmi thanked the Andhra Pradesh government for felicitating her with the award.
