Om Namo Venkatesaya will attract all age groups says, Nagarjuna

After Sri Ramadasu, Shirdi Sai and Annamaya, the hit combination of Raghavendra Rao and Nagarjuana gets ready for another devotional treat” Om Namo Venkatesaya” under Sai Krishna Entertainments Pvt Ltd, produced by A.Mahesh Reddy.

The film is releasing worldwide on Feb 10.

Om Namo Venkatesaya is your 4th upcoming devotional film, What are your expectations?

Hathiram story is totally different from Annamayya . He comes from a North region to Tirupati. It is said that, some have come from Maharashtra and some from Rajasthan. He’ll be involved in service of Lord Venkateswara. He comes in Elephant avatar and eats sugar canes. Hathiram Baba is an emotional character with interesting & entertaining elements.

Is Hathriam originally has beard as you grew it for character?

I’ve grown beard for "Criminal" movie too. Raghavendra has said, beard will suit the character. So, I accepted.

How will youth respond to film?

Not only youth, It’ll attract all age groups.

The life history Annamayya was presented. Is it similar to Hathiram Baba?

We’ve shown Hathriam's history from 8 years to 50 years.

Can you tell about the character outlines of Pragya Jaiswal & Anushka?

Pragya plays as Hathriam’s sister in law and Anushka is a complete devotee of lord Venkateswara.

There is a reference for Annamayya songs…any reference for Om Namo Venkatesaya music?

Not only songs, we have received very less information for story too. M.M. Keeravani has composed beautiful music. Aanandam, Govinda Namalu all are good.

What was your reaction after listening to story?

"Annamayya" features a great story and it is unbeatable. But I felt surprising as its an interesting story.

What is your opinion on collections?

"Annamayya" has slowly built the success steps and "Sri Ramadasu" got good openings. I'm hoping that, this movie will also get fair openings.

What are the highlights of movie?

There are four important parts, that are highlight and mainly, last 10 min are must watch.

What is your opinion on the three movies that are released on Sankranthi and running successfully now?

“Sathamanam Bhavati” was released between two blockbusters & is successful. Dil Raju has planned correctly and released. We too planned similarly for "Soggade Chinni Nayana"as well.

How about releasing the film in Tamil?

Yes, We actually thought to release in Tamil. But have come up with Telugu first later in Tamil & Hindi.

What is the reason to choose Saurabh Jain for lord Venkateswara role?

There is a wedding scene of Lord Venkateswara where he should look young. In the searching process for a young guy, we have thought Saurabh Jain will be apt for the role.

Is it true that Raghavendra Rao has said that it is his last movie?

While making film, he said it is his last film but that should become false.

What is the status of Chaitanya- Kalyan Krishna?

The shooting will be completed in March end. It’ll be like “Ninne Pelladata” and I'll announce the release date soon.

You are closer to your 100th film, what type of movie you’ll prefer to do?

I'ts a 100th film from fans point of view. There are movies in which I'm seen in the guest roles too and it's not correct to consider them. When my count comes to 100, I'll announce.

Writer, J. K. Bharavi is up with non-devotional story? What type of story it is?

He didn’t tell any story still and I'm looking forward for it.

What will be your next movie after Raju Gari Gadhi?

It's a Bangarraju Prequel.
