Koneru Sathyanarayana Interview About Rakshasudu

Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Anupama Parameshwaran starring as the main lead roles in the film Rakshasudu. Ramesh Varma is directing this remake of Tamil blockbuster film Ratsasan. The leading production company Abhishek Pictures bagged Rakshasudu movie rights for fancy rates. Abhishek Nama is releasing the film grandly worldwide on August 2nd. On the occasion of the movie release, Koneru Sathya Narayana spoke to media.

Being the chairmen for KL University, why did you enter production?

I have been in the field of education for nearly four decades. We don't need to mention the popularity of our Koneru Lakshmaiah University Nationally. Our Branch Started in Hyderabad Last Year. Even though I produced my son's Havish movie Genius, I didn't involve in the past. However, I became a full-fledged producer with this film.

Is there any particular reason for choosing this script?

I watched the film in Tamil within a week of its release. We are remaking the Tamil film as Rakshasudu in Telugu. I have seen 'Rakshasaan' for my son Havish. I liked the movie very much. However, Havish is already making the same zoner film. So we took Bellamkonda Srinivas as the hero.

Have you made any changes to Telugu?

No, I told to Director Ramesh Varma not to change a single word in the script. If it changes, the feel will miss.    Ramesh Varma has also involved in the story and directed well. He also got good support technically.

What is the reason for the title Rakshasudu?

The title relates to the film. However, the titles of our films focus on the hero or heroine. However, the reason behind the title Rakshasudu is the concept of the film.

Is there a message in this Telugu as in Tamil?

The reason I produced Genius is a good concept. I have a good message in each of my films. Moreover, when it comes to this film, we show how parents should take care of their children while sending to school.

Hero Bellamkonda Srinivas Performance?

I have seen very few movies of Bellamkonda Srinivas. However, thinking he was good for the story we selected Bellamkonda Srinivas. Srinivas has given a lot of matured performance as we thought.

How's the movie business?

Business completed. Our movie rights were sold at a higher rate than we thought. Also, digital Rights were grabbed by Gemini. Abhishek Pictures has taken over the worldwide theatrical rights of our movie. 

Tell us about your next films?

Two to three stories are ready. We are also doing a movie with my son, Havish. We also work with new directors and actors who come with Young talent.
