Director Teja Marni said, "I worked in the directorial department of the famous director Ramgopal Varma for the film 'Vangaveeti' and also in the writing department at the famous writer Vijayendra Prasad. My first film as a director was Johar. I want to bring it to the audience as an emotional drama that revolves around the five characters that were drawn out by the political statues.
