I Thought Chiranjeevi Would Take me into Films - Nikhil

Young hero Nikhil and Lavanya Tripathi starring in the main lead roles in the film 'Arjun Suravaram'. This is an action thriller directed by T. Santosh. Raj Kumar Akella is producing this film under Tagore Madhu Presents, Movie Dynamics LLP Banner. On the occasion fo the movie release today, Nikhil spoke to media.

The reason behind Arjun Suravaram postpone?
The movie which is scheduled for release on May 1, is now releasing in theaters after several months. I spent many sleepless nights worrying about the release of the film. The people who were in the middle of producers and the theater owners used our film.  

What is the movie Arjun Suravaram about?
Lavanya, Vennela Kishore, Sathya, I belong to the young team. These four team members get into a problem, and the main story is all about how they managed to get out of it. It is a good social message film.  

Do you think that you lag behind in career?
Every day I listen to ten to fifteen scripts. I can't do every movie. Before Happy Days movie, my mom said that my movie should be watchable with the entire family. That's why I choose stories that are selective.

This is a remake of the Tamil film, have you done any changes that give effect on the nativity?
We have made some changes without changing the main plot. Lavanya, Vennela Kishore, and Satya's roles have been enhanced to equal my character.
 
You said that Chiranjeevi inspired you to come into the movies, how?
Once Chiranjeevi came to my school children's cultural programs. Then there’s my presentation. It was so long ago that he left without seeing my show. I thought that he may look at my dances and take me into the movies.
 
Tell us about director T Santosh?
He was a working monster and would not give up until he gets what he wanted. He does not care about accidents and wounds. He takes multiple takes of a single shot. His father is a journalist, so he has a good idea of journalism.

Why did you change the title Mudra?
When we announced the title, I saw another movie with the same name in Book My Show and suggested to change the title.

The reason for keeping as Arjun Suravaram?
The hero's name in this movie is Arjun. Suravaram Pratapareddy is a leading journalist. With that inspiration, we used his surname Suravaram.

What pictures are you making in the future?
Karthikeya 2 Movie is going to start its regular shooting from next month. Also doing a project in the Geetha Arts banner with director V Anand. A movie called `Hanuman` is in the discussion stage. I am doing three projects at this moment.
