I liked Kathanam Among 12 Stories - Anasuya Bharadwaj

Directed by Rajesh Nadendla, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Avasarala Srinivas played the lead roles in the film 'Kathanam'. This crime thriller is released on August 9. Anasuya Bharadwaj spoke to the media on the occasion of the release. 

How long you came into the industry?

Almost 10 years since I came into the industry. However, I never imagined myself doing a lead role in such a lady oriented film. I got married when I completed my MBA and doing a job. I got a break for my job due to marriage and tried doing an add. That's the way I entered the industry.

How did you feel knowing about the key role in kathanam?

In fact, I was not so excited. Because after the movie Rangasthalam, I heard about 12 stories. Among them, I liked only Kathanam story.

What are the elements that have impressed you in the film?

I played the character Anu in this movie. She is an assistant director. Murders take place ass he wrote in the script. The investigation of these murders is very interesting.

You are mainly promoting the film?

There was no one else in the movie and I will play the main lead. But no matter how many promotions we do, It's up to the audience to come to theaters and watch the film. But we have made a film that believes in a good story.

What about director Rajesh Nadendla?

This is the first film of Rajesh Nadendla. He has good clarity on the film. I hope this film should give him a big hit.

Is your film coming out in competition with Nagarjuna?

Not at all. It is very difficult to find theaters for small film releases. Under such circumstances, the release of our film is fixed. There is no such thing as competition.

Do you get offers not only in Telugu but also from other industries?

Yes. After the Rangasthalam dubbing version was released in Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam, there were many opportunities. But I couldn't do it.

What about your next movie?

An update will release on another movie release in October. However, I will think about the rest of the films soon after the release of the movie.
