I Have Not Seen Anyone Except Chiranjeevi in Narasimha Reddy Character - Surender Reddy

Stylish director Surender Reddy is best known for his super hit films like Kick, Athanokkade, Oosarvalle and Dhruva directed a historical film Syeraa Narasimha Reddy starring megastar Chiranjeevi. Ramcharan is producing this film under the Konidela Production company. Starring Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Kichchasudeep, Nayanthara, Tamanna, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan, Niharika etc. The film released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam on October 2 on the occasion of the 150th Gandhi Jayanthi. 

How did Syeraa Journey start?

I never thought I would make a movie with Chiranjeevi. In the Dhruva movie success tour, The first message was from Chiranjeevi. Charan then suggested me to do a film with his dad. I felt very happy and met Chiranjeevi garu after his return from America. 

Some points in the Gazettes are said to be good. What are they?

Many people have said many different things about Uyyalavada Narasimhareddi. But I checked in the gazettes that there were 9000 thousand people behind him. Then it seemed to me that if Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy was really a thief, why 9000 thousand ordinary people would come as an army. 

How did you feel about directing megastar?

Making a film with Chiranjeevi garu is a privilege for me. I feel fortunate to have such a historical film coming out. He also gave many valuable suggestions in the script.

How do you present Chiranjeevi to his fans?

Basically this is the story of a warrior named Uyyalavada Narasimhareddy. Most Powerful Character with Potential. There are lots of things that fans want in that character. I have never seen anyone except Chiranjeevi in Narasimha Reddy's character.

What precautions were taken for doing a historical film for the first time?

When I wanted to work with the story of Uyyalavada Narasimha reddy, I worked on the script for a long time. Since Periodical Film needs the Best Production Designer, I selected Rajeevan and discussed it with him. When making a periodic film like this, it is natural to rely on visual effects to recreate the atmosphere. However, we have planned to reduce the effects in Syeraa and to create a natural environment. This is one reason why our film is delayed. 

What about the characters of Nayanthara and Tamanna?

Nayanthara is seen as Narasimha Reddy's wife and Tamanna is seen as his girlfriend. Both are important characters. Anushka also stars as Jhansi Lakshmi bai. It is also an important character and appears in Beginning and Ending

Rahman was considered first for the film?

The shoot was started a year after we thought we would start. Then the music director AR. Rahman is very busy. Timings and dates could not be adjusted. We had to be shot a song urgent. Ramcharan and I, both selected Amit Trivedi. 

Reason for shooting in Georgia?

We need 200 horses, many foreigners, Equipment and technicians from there. There is only one reason to save money and time.
