GST scene censored in Vijay’s Adirindi

Thalapthy Vijay’s latest blockbuster Mersal has been dubbed as Adirindi in Telugu and was released today. The film received a positive response as it’s Tamil counterpart but with one exception. The infamous GST scene in the film which questions the Government practice has been censored from the film in its Telugu version! Several stars including Rajinikanth, Vishal and Kamal Hassan have backed Mersal in it’s fight against censorship but the efforts ended in vain.

Mersal has been ridden with controversies since the shoot began until the latest row of GST scene. Mersal vs BJP has been a trending hashtag for almost two weeks in a row.
