‘Gang’ is good to go

Tamil star Surya, popular for his roles in ‘Ghajini’, ‘Surya s/o Krishnan’ and ‘7th Sense’ is gearing up for a release for the Sankranthi season with his ‘Gang’ on 12th January. Though pitched against the original films of several big stars in the Sankranti season, UV creations is showing confidence by following their sentiment. UV creations also released their previous films ‘Express Raja’ and ’Mahanubhavudu’ amidst a high competition with the stars and managed to score hits in both cases. Following the same sentiment, the makers are confident that ‘Gang’ will find its way to success this Sankranti.

Though several filmmakers in the South wanted to remake ’Special 26’, the plans didn’t materialize. That’s when Gnanvel Raja acquired the film’s rights and brought in Vignesh Shivan to helm the project
