Award for Rahul Ravindran in the Original Screenplay category, for 'Chi La Sow', Award for visual effects and makeup for Prashanth Varma's Awe movie and one more award was grabbed by Rangasthalam for Audiography. Out of the 66th National Film Awards, the Telugu film industry has received seven awards in total. The Telugu cinema celebrities and fans are happy. At the same time, there is a bit of dissatisfaction.

Most of them were worried that it is unfair for Ram Charan's 'Rangasthalam' directed by Sukumar. Ram Charan made a unique appearance in 'Rangasthalam' as a young person with a hearing problem. Sukumar as director, Ratnavel as a cinematographer, Mounika, and Ramakrishna as art directors got a good name for the film. They had shown a village in Godavari district in the 80's. The movie also impressed the audience and bagged blockbuster collections. Mega fans and viewers hoped that the film will receive national awards. But then, there was only one award. Some people have posted on social media that Ram Charan's performance should get an award. In addition to 'Rangasthalam', 'Needi Nadi Oke Katha' directed by Venu Udugula also stood as a good competitor to the films.
