Akhil Had Crossed my Expectations in Mr.Majnu- Venky Atluri

Venky Atluri, Who had grabbed a super hit success with his first film Tholiprema paired with Akkineni Akhil for his second romantic family entertainer film Mr. Majnu. Producer BVSN Prasad produced this film under Sree Venkateshwara Cine Chitra LLP Banner. As the movie was released on 25t January and received a hit talk, Director Venky Atluri spoke to media.

What is your reaction after knowing the hit talk of your second film M.r Majnu?
I felt very happy. The first show is telecasted in Katar and after knowing the positive response I felt relaxed. I watched the film along with the audience and felt happy with their response to the film.

What's the inspiration for this story?
Akhil's character in this film is based on Nageshwar Rao's character in Prem Nagar.

Majnu replicates sad endings, But why did you designed playboy character for Akhil?
Majnu is a poet and his life had a sad ending. Akhil in Mr. majnu plays a naughty character that's why we added Mr that sad endings will not be in this film.

Whose idea is Kondababu comedy with Dilraju's grandson?
Its mine, I am very close to DIlraju's family. His grandson Aarhansh who is 1 and a half year old will be very active. I asked Dilraju after observing him. I also asked DIlraju's daughter, She also accepted Arhansh as Kondababu Character.  

As you are a hardcore fan of Akkineni, Did you made any story for Nagarjuna?
Especially, I did not write any story for him but as a fan of Akkineni Nagarjuna, I like his Githanjali, Shiva and Annamayya movies.

Why did you add piracy Seen?
Everyone will work hard to make a film without proper sleep. It's very sad to see the link of piracy on the release day itself  

Who do you like as a writer and director?
I like Trivikram sir, Maniratnam sir is an inspiration to me. Hi movie s are very simple. Trivikram had simplified the writing so that I could write it easily.

How much do you think Akhil is doing justice to your majesty?
I think he made 50 percent more than I thought. I never told him to do in any way. He just asks me that "What is emotion in his scene? and do his work.

When is your movie with NTR?
I have to do a film with him. But for doing a film with such as star hero should have all the elements in the story and a little more experience. If everything is fine i will definitely do a film with him.

Next projects?
Now we are going to take 'Mr, Majnu' to the next level. I'm going to visit some theaters and see the response from them. Afetr that i will think about my next film.
