One-time-watchable

The film has decent performances from everyone. Sapthagiri did well in the film and at times, his performance appears overboard.The film has got a good supporting cast in the form of Sai Kumar, Siva Prasad, Shakalaka Shankar, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Jhansi, Jaya Prakash Reddy and few others

The makers have taken the core point of the Bollywood film and remade it in Telugu. Most of the scenes in the original were not retained in the Telugu version of the film.With the added commercial elements, the film looks like a pakka B and C centre movie.The court-room drama clicked well and it is a major highlight of the movie. With some decent performances, the film is a one-time-watchable flick.

Half-hearted remake

The last half an hour of the film is quite crucial and is the biggest asset to the film. The way the court case is fought between the two lawyers has been showcased in a very interesting note.Coming to Saptagiri, he has done a decent job in his titular role.Coming to the director Charan, he has done a below average job with the film. He wastes a lot of time to get to the point and makes the premise silly most of the time.

On the whole, Saptagiri LLB is a half-hearted remake of the cult Hindi film Jolly LLB. The first half of the film goes for a toss as some silly narration and over the top sequences bore the audience.

Successful only in parts

Sapthagiri reprised the role of Arshad Warsi in the film.The writing is okay in the film. A lot of care could have been taken while making the changes. Sapthagiri also tried to establish himself in the industry as a commercial hero. Coming to the execution part, the makers are successful only in parts.Sapthagiri could have drawn some inspirations from the films like Chettukinda Pleader which would have saved him and his film from getting failed.

Shabby Remake

Saptagiri has played this role showing all kinds of antics like a regular mass hero, instead of being a simple ordinary lawyer.However, in this Telugu version, the fun quotient is completely missing. The emotional pitch is restricted to the final portion.“Saptagiri LLB” is like a cross between cheap comedy movie and badly made big hero’s masala movie.

With below average writing and taking, “Saptagiri LLB” completely gets it wrong. This remake is totally avoidable. It is better Saptagiri realizes that he is strong in comedy and not as hero.

Sapthagiri LLB is a remake of the Bollywood blockbuster Jolly LLB and more or less stays true to the original. The difference is in terms of the presentation of the lead character. Without disturbing the plot, director Charan Lakkaakula has inserted some fight and song sequences (shot in exotic locales) to portray Sapthagiri as a mainstream hero.

Watch Sapthagiri LLB for some powerhouse performances by Sai Kumar and Shiva Prasad. But be warned: If you are looking for a laugh riot, then this certainly is not. 

మంచి కథకు మసాలా పులిమేశారు

సప్తగిరి తన వరకు మంచి ఎనర్జీనే చూపించాడు. ఉత్సాహంగా నటించాడు. అతడికి అలవాటైన అమాయకపు నటనతో ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. అలాగే హీరోయిజం ఎలివేట్ అయ్యే సీన్లలోనూ బాగానే చేశాడు.సారంగం ఛాయాగ్రహణం మామూలుగా అనిపిస్తుంది. నిర్మాణ విలువలు ఓకే. సప్తగిరి రేంజికి మించి నిర్మాత బాగానే ఖర్చు పెట్టాడు.

దర్శకుడిగా చరణ్ లక్కాకుల ముద్రంటూ ఏమీ లేదు. అతను కొన్ని చోట్ల మాస్ కామెడీ పండించడంలో మాత్రమే తన ప్రతిభను చూపించాడు. మాతృకలోని ఆత్మను చరణ్ పట్టుకోలేదు. కథను మింగేసేలా కమర్షియల్ హంగులద్ది.. ‘సప్తగిరి ఎల్ ఎల్ బీ’ని చాలా లౌడ్ గా తయారు చేశాడు. 

Totally over the top

Saptagiri resorts to action, romance and dances again. He doesn't do much comedy and projects himself like an established action hero. Director Charan Lakkakula altered the screenplay of the original to incorporate commercial elements like songs and fights. A plot like this doesn't give scope for commercial elements, but the director used every opportunity to cut into a fight or song.

The film's success will depend on how masses embrace it. Saptagiri LLB is a strict no-no for sensible film lovers and especially for those who have seen the original.
