Sailaja Reddy Alludu

This is the first time that Chay is seen in a complete commercial entertainer and he manages to impress quite decently. 

One of the biggest minus points of the film is the lack of good entertainment which is missing most of the time.

Production values of the film are top notch as the village visuals and songs have been shot quite well. 

 ‘Sailaja Reddy Alludu’ film has a commercial story line that is heavily dependent on treatment and narration.

Production values by Sithara Entertainments are good. 3 songs are lavish, visuals are rich. However, supporting cast could have been better.

Naga Chaitanya as Chaitu looked very positive, acted with ease. In stylish outfits, his screen presence is much better than previous outings.

With thick moustache and light beard, Naga Chaitanya has looked matured here compared to his previous movies. He has played his character convincingly though there is not much scope for him to do more than regular scenes.

Cinematography, production values are top class. Nizar who has been providing camera work for Maruthi movies has lent rich look with his camerawork.

Director Maruthi who has been dishing out simple but entertaining movies with protagonists having some disease or problem has attempted a time-tested theme here with some small change.

Naga Chaitanya is at ease in the role given to him. There is a visible effort to put more energy and that is fine.

Maruthi has developed a formula with his movies. He sticks to it religiously and writes engaging comedy blocks to entertain.

The major disconnect occurs in the second half when the same ego problem is repeated with the mother of the heroine.
