Ranarangam

After the debacle of Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Sharwa is back with a crime drama called Ranarangam. The film has released along with another thriller titled Evaru. Let’s see how the film turns out to be.

The film is set in Vizag where Deva(Sharwanand) and his friends sell black tickets. During this time, Sharwa falls in love with Geetha(Kalyani Priyadarshan).When everything seems to be going fine, Deva locks horns with the local MLA(Murali Sharma) and enters the illegal liquor business. As expected, the game changes and a tug of war starts. Sharwa grows big in the business but is still being targeted by someone all the time. The rest of the story is as to how Sharwa kills all his enemies and becomes numero uno in the business.

Deva (Sharwanand) is a powerful gangster from Visakhapatnam who moves to Spain to put his past behind him. But what happens when he realises he can’t shake off his enemies no matter where he goes?

Ranarangam is a film that’s not hard to describe, plain and simple, it’s the story of a gangster who rises to power and ends up making numerous enemies along the way. The difficult part is when it comes to moving past all that mind-bending swag the film has on full-display and realising it’s nothing but the same old liquor in a shiny new bottle.

Deva (Sharwanand) is an ambitious guy who doesn’t mind taking an illegal route to earning money. He stars bootlegging liquor during the prohibition era. In doing so, he finds himself to be at the wrong side local MLA Simhachalam (Murali Sharma). While all this is happening, Deva also falls in love with Geetha (Kalyani Priyadarshan). How Deva becomes a big gangster who operates from a foreign location? Where is Geetha, and what do his foes do, is what the movie is all about?

విశాఖపట్నంలోని పాతపోస్టాఫీసు ఏరియాకు చెందిన దేవ (శర్వానంద్) తన ముగ్గురు స్నేహితులతో (రాజా చెంబోలు, ఆదర్శ్ బాలకృష్ణ, సుదర్శన్) కలిసి బ్లాక్‌లో సినిమా టికెట్లు అమ్ముకుంటూ డబ్బులు సంపాదిస్తుంటారు. ఎన్టీఆర్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి అయిన కాలం అది. రాష్ట్రంలో మద్య నిషేధం అమలులోకి వస్తుంది. బ్లాక్‌లో లిక్కర్‌కు బోలెడంత గిరాకీ. ఒరిస్సా నుంచి లిక్కర్‌ను దొంగతనంగా తీసుకొచ్చి విశాఖపట్నంలో అమ్మితే డబ్బే డబ్బు. ఈ విషయాన్ని గ్రహించిన దేవ తన మిత్రులతో లిక్కర్ వ్యాపారం మొదలుపెడతాడు. చూస్తుండగానే ఎదిగిపోతాడు. ఇదే క్రమంలో లోకల్ ఎమ్మెల్యే సింహాచలం (మురళీశర్మ)కు శత్రువుగా మారతాడు.
