An elderly woman Baby (Lakshmi) who is adamant in everything that she does is forced to leave her family in certain circumstances. Unexpectedly, she regains a youthful appearance and embarks on a quest for happiness to her own home as Baby (Samantha).

Making remake movies is not an easy task but director Nandini Reddy has succeeded in justifying the story.

The story is entirely based on a simple concept but is executed in a beautiful manner. The movie not only starts off an interesting note and the entire first half will revolve around the establishment of the story.

You can understand why director Nandini Reddy felt doing a film like Oh! Baby could increase the risk of criticism. It's not an easy movie to remake, and there are a lot of things that could have gone wrong.

There's a lot to like about Oh! Baby. The manner in which the old lady behaves like a young woman in her 20s is hilarious. The writing is straightforward, the music (by Mickey J Meyer) is terrific and the acting is top-notch.

Save for moments in the latter part of the film which are a tad bit melodramatic, Oh! Baby is an enjoyable ride.

Baby(Lakshmi) is a hyper old lady who runs a canteen of her her own. Her over dominating nature is not liked by her daughter in law.

Even though the film is a remake, the manner in which Nandini Reddy has set the film in the Telugu nativity is superb. She has excelled in her work and Oh Baby is Nandini’s best work to date.

The second half of the film is a tad slow and lenghty. The proceedings could have been trimmed to make things better.

One the whole, Oh Baby is a heartwarming family drama which touches your heart completely. Beautiful emotions, good comedy, family values and romance, this film has it all.

Baby is undoubtedly one of the memorable roles in the career of Samantha and she is lucky enough to get such kind of subject. Sam excelled in the character of a 70-Year-Old turning into 24-Year-Old.

Songs composed by Mickey J Meyer aren't up to the standards set by him. Except 'Changubala', None of the songs are impressive. Background Score is okay. Camera Work by Richard Prasad is so pleasing.

Story takes a serious turn in the Second Half as the motive behind the decision to turn 24-Year-Old gets revealed. Lack of a single effective scene showing Baby realise that her life as 70-Year-Old is far better is a drawback.

Baby akka (Lakshmi) is a 70-year-old woman who runs a canteen with her best friend Chanti (Rajendra Prasad).  A doting mother of Nani (Rao Ramesh), she is loud-mouthed and a disciplinarian at home.

An official remake of a South Korean movie named 'Miss Granny', 'Oh Baby' tells a tale of reliving life by going back in time.  In doing so, the screenplay gradually turns generic and superficial in the second half.

Surprisingly, Samantha's character acquires unreal strength and doesn't show the kind of vulnerability expected of a realistic old woman's character .

Baby (Lakshmi) is an old lady who has all the so-called bad qualities of being old. She runs a college canteen along with Chanti (Rajendra Prasad). As an old lady, her way of caring is different and her daughter in law is affected very much mentally and health wise due to the naggings of Baby.

The songs composed by Mickey J Meyer are nice. He put in a great effort in composing background score. Richard Prasad has done fine work in terms of cinematography. The editing of the film could have been better. The production values are grand.

Oh Baby is a story that tells the life of older people in the family and their innate feelings. The film has a really unique concept which stands out from the rest of Telugu films. With such a concept in hand, director Nandini Reddy and writer Lakshmi Bhupala approached it in a very routine way like every other Telugu film with loud emotions and summarised dialogues.

There cannot be a better choice than Samantha to play the role of Baby aka Swathi. She is a very intelligent actress who knows what is required for a character to shine. Sam just nails the character with her stupendous performance and adds another jewel to her crown. It is a tough character to play, but Samantha makes it look easy.

'Swathi' in Oh Baby is any actress's dream role and Samantha makes a meal of it. She is arguably the best actress among the contemporary Telugu heroines and Oh Baby will be remembered for a longtime as her finest performances.

On a whole, Oh Baby is a fun film with its heart at the right place. It is sure to win hearts as well as the box office. The concept and execution will appeal to urban audience than others.

Samantha is the pillar of this movie. She has done a terrific job impersonating the grandmother. Although she has played the role of Lakshmi’s 20’s self, her mind is that of a 70-year-old.

The original Korean movie clicked because of its killer soundtrack. This Telugu version has got average songs from Mickey J Meyer. Cinematography by Richard Prasad is excellent.

Based on a Korean hit movie “Miss Granny”, this drama has interesting premise. What a grandmother would do if she gets the chance to live again as a young woman, is a novel thought.
