Nikky ( Nidhhi Agerwal) , an NRI Girl in UK, has high expectations about the man she is going to marry.  She comes across Vikky ( Akhil ) ,another NRI who is doing Master’s in London. Initially Nikky dislikes Vikky as he is a bigtime flirt and a Casanova.

Akhil shows his strengths in ease in body language, dancing skills and his styling is very cool. He acted well in regular scenes, but in couple of emotional scenes he couldn’t get the shot right. For a 3 film old youngster, it is absolutely Okay.

Mr Majnu is an average fare on a whole. Akhil Akkineni has been succeeded in a role which is apt for his age.

Vicky(Akhil) is a playboy who does not believe in serious relationships. This is the time Nikki(Nidhi Aggarwal) falls for Vicky and proposes to him.

The premise of the film is contemporary as a routine story is set in the backdrop of London and it looks good on screen.

On the whole, Mr. Majnu is a new age romantic drama which has a decent setup. But the lack of emotional connect in the love story takes things down a bit in the second half. The lead pair does well and holds the proceedings to an extent.

Vikram Krishna/Vicky (Akhil Akkineni) studies in London and he is well known for his ladies charming abilities and called playboy in his university. Nikki (Niddhi Aggarwal) comes across him accidentally and knows all about him and start to hate him.

Akhil Akkineni who played the lead role Vicky is good. His looks and his presence are good. Nidhi Aggarwal is fine in her role as Nikki. Priyadarshi and Hyper Adhi generate a few laughs.

Mr Majnu is a story of a guy who is well known for his cupid things and how he fell in love of a girl seriously. The movie starts off by introducing Akhil Akkineni as a playboy in which that element to make us believe he is a charmer has gone over the board.

Akhil Akkineni's Mr. Majnu is a romantic drama directed by Tholi Prema fame Venky Atluri. The director has once again shown his command over handling romance dramas.

Akhil is stylish, suave and very much believable as the guy who can win any girl. Besides his handsome looks and fit physique, Akhil has come up with a very good performance as Vicky.

Mr. Majnu is a straightforward film that can be easily guessed by anybody where it is headed to. It has a predictable storyline with a serious girl falling for a flirtatious guy.

Manmadhudi Varasudu

Despite the fact that Akhil has not delivered a hit so far, 'Mr. Majnu' generated buzz thanks to its director Venky Atluri who has delivered a hit 'Tholi Prema' with Varun Tej last year.

Akhil Akkineni is handsome as always. He is neat in his acting though the director has inserted three fights unnecessarily to show him as a massy star too.

Director Venky Atluri was successful in giving a fresh take to a romantic angle in his first movie “Tholi Prema” and the film’s music was mellifluous.

When your hero is flawed, Telugu film writers use clever tricks from the mediocre playbook to make him appear enormously lovable, monumentally acceptable, super cute, a great guy next door and more.

SS Thaman's songs (the title track especially) are impressive, so also his BGM.  George C Williams' cinematography is adept.  Other technical departments do a notable job.

'Mr. Majnu' is a predictable film riddled with known lines, familiar situations, convenient cliches and some laughable tropes.
