This is the first time that Telugu film industry touched upon Wiki-Leaks kind of journalism. All in all, despite patriotic scenes, noble cause of journalism, the movie doesn’t hold interest due to bad packaging. Kalyan Ram and court scene in the end are good part of the movie.

This Ideology have a limited appeal!

Action Sequences were picturized well. Once the mission was disclosed, People just wait for the Climax. The Court Room sequence might appeal to the mass audience and Nandamuri fans. On a whole, 'ISM' falls short of the expectations.

Message through technology

On the whole, ISM is a very honest attempt from Kalyan Ram and Puri. The Nandamuri hero’s stunning performance, first half, and a gripping pre-climax are major assets. If you ignore the lackluster climax and some hurried up scenes here and there, ISM will surely impress those who love hardcore commercial entertainers with a good message.

What the duck!

Keep your expectations in check if you are planning to watch it. Ism has the potential but in the end it turns out as just another Puri brand masala film with stereotype characters.

Escaping into Puri-ISM

A hero vs villain entertainer done on a template, and to cater to a section of escapism-lovers. Puri's fans will love the hero's characterization and dialogues. Kalyan Ram's best-ever performance. Outrage over black money is cinematic, impractical. A gripping screenplay around the hero's modus operandi would have helped. Action sequences should have been innovative. The climax works for many.

It is Puri JaganISM Movie

ISM is based on the ideology of Wikileaks. First half of the movie begins with an illegal fight in Dubai where hero falls for heroine. This half is completely filled with romance between hero and heroine and also hero and villain. Story is not revealed in this half until the last few minutes where hero leaks information on Javed Bhai. This half is entertaining and songs come at right places and are shot well. Second half begins with Kalyan Ram devising a plan to curb corruption and heroine and his father searching for hero. Actual story of the movie starts from here and it ends with the solution. We have seen many movies dealing with corruption but ISM is slightly different from them where makers address a solution to it. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Puri Jagannadh are to be appreciated for the pre climax scene and bringing out a new Kalyanram. A better screenplay would have created a huge impact on audience. Ignoring some scenes, ISM is an entertaining film from Puri Jagan and Kalyan Ram. To summarise, ISM is message oriented commercial film. Share on Facebook

No 'Ism' in this Puri Jagan film!

On the whole, Ism is not up to the mark as though Puri Jagannath has come up with a new subject, he hasn’t been able to pull it off properly. It’s a typical Puri kind of films.

Not a must-watch unless you’re a Puri loyalist

As grand as the story sounds, this movie is quite predictably every Puri film ever – an unconquerable hero, a larger than life conspiracy, a bimbo who falls in love as a result of stalking. That’s all the movie is.
