Dumb and Dumbest!

Sai Dharam Tej has done neat job but he hardly looks like a software guy. He has looked well in other shade of his character Dharma bhai. As a rich girl, Lavanya is okay. She has done some skin show in songs, an essential aspect of a ‘masala movie’ heroine.

Director Vinayak established himself as a top director with series of hits like "Aadhi", "Tagore" etc and acquired the image that he can package a mass movie well. But his heyday as director seems to have come to an end. Critics declared that "Akhil" was his worst movie. Now he has come up with "Inttelligent" that makes us to think that "Akhil" was far better than this crap. Cinematography, music, art work and production values are at template standard. None of the technicians have given any good output given the content they have on hand.

From start to finish, it is quite boring. Nowhere do we get any respite from the proceedings. Overall, "Inttelligent" is a mess, silly and headache inducing movie.

ఇంటిలిజెంట్.. ఇంత ఔట్ డేటెడా?

సాయిధరమ్ తేజ్ నటన పరంగా కొత్తగా చేసిందేమీ లేదు. క్యారెక్టర్ కు తగ్గట్లే రొటీన్ గా ఉంది అతడి నటన. లావణ్య త్రిపాఠికి ఏమాత్రం చెప్పుకోదగ్గ రోల్ లేదు.

ఇంతకుముందు వినాయక్ ఎంత రొటీన్ సినిమాలు తీసినా.. కొన్ని అంశాల్లో అయినా ఆకట్టుకునేవాడు. కామెడీని బాగా డీల్ చేయడమో.. యాక్షన్ సన్నివేశాల్లో పనితనం చూపించడమో చేసేవాడు. కానీ ‘ఇంటిలిజెంట్’లో మాత్రం దర్శకత్వ పరంగా ఎక్కడా చిన్న మెరుపు కూడా లేడు. వినాయక్ కెరీర్లో డిజాస్టర్లున్నాయి కానీ.. ఇంత పేలవమైన సినిమా మాత్రం లేదు. ఇక ముందు కూడా వినాయక్ ఇలాంటి సినిమా తీయలేడేమో. తమన్ సంగీతం చాలా సాదాసీదాగా అనిపిస్తుంది. విశ్వేశ్వర్ ఛాయాగ్రహణంలో ఏ ప్రత్యేకతా లేదు. నిర్మాణ విలువలు చాలా సాధారణంగా అనిపిస్తాయి. ఆకుల శివ కథ గురించి.. మాటల గురించి ఎంత తక్కువ చెప్పుకుంటే అంత మంచిది. ‘ఇంటిలిజెంట్’ సినిమా మొదలైన దగ్గర్నుంచి మనం కాలంలో వెనక్కే ప్రయాణిస్తుంటాం.

నిజానికి ‘ఇంటిలిజెంట్’ పదేళ్ల కిందటి సినిమాలా ఉందని అంటే.. అప్పటి సినిమాల్ని తక్కువ చేసినట్లే అవుతుంది. ఇలాంటి సినిమా ఎన్నేళ్ల ముందు వచ్చినా కూడా ఔట్ డేటెడ్ గా.. అర్థరహితంగానే అనిపిస్తుంది తప్పితే వేరే ఫీలింగ్ ఇవ్వదేమో. ఈ సినిమాను ఇలా మాస్ కోసమే తీశాం అని అంటే.. ఆ వర్గం ప్రేక్షకుల్ని కించపరిచినట్లే.

Inttelligent – Not so Clever

Sai Dharam does well in his role as a software engineer. The way he transforms himself in the second half and carries the film on his shoulders looks okay. Lavanya Tripathi is just about okay in her role and does not have much to do with the film. Some comedy generated through Posani and Jayaprakash Reddy during the initial stages of the film evokes some laughs. The interval bang where Dharma Bhai is revealed looks good.

Production values of the film are mediocre as the visuals look quite outdated in many areas. director Vinayak, he has done a very disappointing job with the film. Intteligent is his weakest film in his career as it looks quite outdated right from the scene one. There is no basic emotion in the film and the screenplay by Vinayak does not help matters much. Music score by Thaman is a huge disappointment as none of the songs impresses. Camera work is okay and presents the film on a decent note. Story and dialogues by Akula Shiva are silly and stuck in the 90’s era.

On the whole, Intteligent is V V Vinayak’s weakest film to date. The routine story, predictable narration and lack of basic twists and entertainment go against the film completely. It is sad to see Sai Dharam Tej’s sincere efforts and performance go waste in the film.
