Chinababu

Karthi is a fantastic performer when he gets a superb role and he proves it again with the role of Krishnam Raju. His body language, attitude, and diction are all in well sync with that of real-life farmers. Sayesha Saigal is superb in her role as a simplistic entrepreneur.

The story of Chinababu is simple and good. The screenplay is written well but with a lot of Tamil flavor. Dialogues are good and some are powerful.

 Director Pandiraj who is well praised by critics for his previous movie has made a movie with a lot of full emotions and rural backdrop as its heart. 

కోలీవుడ్ స్టార్ హీరో కార్తీ.. తమిళ అభిమానులతో పాటు తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులకు కూడా సుపరిచితుడే. తన ప్రతీ సినిమాను తమిళ, తెలుగు భాషల్లో రిలీజ్ చేస్తూ ఇక్కడ కూడా మంచి మార్కెట్ సొంతం చేసుకున్న కార్తీ.

రైతు పాత్రలో కార్తీ జీవించాడు. ఆదర్శ రైతుగా, కుటుంబం కోసం ప్రాణమిచ్చే పల్లెటూరి యువకుడి పాత్రలో కార్తీ నటన సూపర్బ్‌.

మాస్ ఆడియన్స్‌లో మంచి పట్టున్న కార్తీని పల్లెటూరి రైతు బిడ్డగా చూపించాడు దర్శకుడు పాండిరాజ్‌. మాస్ కమర్షియల్‌, ఎలిమెంట్స్‌ మిస్‌ అవ్వకుండా, బలమైన ఎమోషన్స్‌ తో కథను నడిపించాడు.

ఈ తరం యువత ఎలా అయితే వ్యవసాయాన్ని వదిలేసి నగర బాట పట్టిందో.. సినీ రచయితలు.. దర్శకులు సైతం పల్లెటూరి కథల్ని అలాగే పక్కన పెట్టేశారు. 

‘చినబాబు’కు కార్తి నటన పెద్ద బలం. తన కెరీర్లో ఇప్పటిదాకా పోషించని విభిన్నమైన పాత్రలో కార్తి సులువగా ఒదిగిపోయాడు. రైతుగా చక్కగా నటించాడు. 

Old School.

As long as you watch, you don’t feel bored. But beneath all the jokes and emotional scenes, the plot and the scenes make you feel that it is too-archaic.

Karthi’s “Chinna Babu” doesn’t offer novelty, but this rustic sentiment drama is a pretty watchable fare due to the actor’s performances and some jokes.
