Naga Shourya makes a terrific transformation from a lover boy to an action hero. His screen presence, body language, and performance in fights and emotional scenes is very good.

So much tension is created in the first half about who is behind all the crime and the twist is revealed right after the interval. Things could have been prolonged a bit to keep the suspense intact. 

On the whole, Ashwathama is an emotional thriller with a riveting first half. Naga Shourya leads from the front and is superb in his action avatar. But the film bogs down in the second half with predictable scenes and hurried up climax.

Gana (Naga Shaurya) returns from the USA to Vizag to attend his sister Priya’s engagement ceremony. A day after her engagement, she tries to commit suicide but Gana saves her.

Naga Shaurya has done a good job as a responsible brother. Naga Shaurya is convincing in his action avatar.

In the recent past, several Telugu thrillers hit the screens which were made sincerely without much deviating from the central point.

Ashwathama is the latest movie in the theatres. Naga Shaurya and Mehreen Pirzada played the lead roles. Shaurya penned the story for the film and it is produced by his parents under IRA Creations banner.

Naga Shourya is undoubtedly the show stealer of the movie. The actor has underwent the skin of the character and grabbed the attention with his outstanding performance in the film.

The movie starts off on an interesting note. The entire first half has some light-hearted comedy scenes which will engage the audience. Also, the relationships between the characters are showcased in a beautiful way.

Young actor Naga Shaurya is back with new film Ashwathama. The theatrical trailer is a perfect cut and keeps the audience thrilling till the last frame.

Though trailers are projected this film as a sister sentiment theme, which indeed to an extent, the entire second half is gruesome watch for families.

On the other hand, the director tried to execute sister sentiment track between hero and his sister.

అశ్వత్థామ చిత్రంతో తొలి చిత్ర దర్శకుడిగా పరిచయమైన రమణ తేజ మంచి పాయింట్‌తో కథను సిద్ధం చేసుకొన్నట్టు కనిపిస్తుంది. సినిమాను సిస్టర్ సెంటిమెంట్‌తో సైకో థ్రిల్లర్ మలిచేందుకు ప్రయత్నించడం కొత్తగా అనిపిస్తుంది.

 

గణ (నాగశౌర్య)కు చెల్లెలంటే పంచ ప్రాణాలు. చిన్నప్పట్నుంచి కంటికి రెప్పలా కాపాడుకుంటూ వచ్చిన చెల్లికి పెళ్లి ఫిక్సవడంతో అతను అమెరికా నుంచి తన ఇంటికొస్తాడు. నిశ్చితార్థం పూర్తయ్యాక కుటుంబమంతా చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉన్న సమయంలో గణ చెల్లెలు ఆత్మహత్యా యత్నం చేస్తుంది. 

కొన్నేళ్ల కిందట రామ్ గోపాల్ వర్మ తీసిన ‘అనుక్షణం’ లైన్లో సాగే చిత్రం ‘అశ్వథ్థామ’. ఐతే వర్మ సినిమా విలన్ సెంట్రిగ్గా సాగితే.. ‘అశ్వథ్థామ’ హీరో కోణంలో నడుస్తుంది. అమ్మాయిల్ని విచిత్రమైన పద్ధతుల్లో ట్రాప్ చేసి.. కోరిక తీర్చుకుని..

శ్రీచరణ్ పాకాల పాటలు సినిమాలో నామమాత్రంగా అనిపిస్తాయి. పాటలకు సినిమాలో ప్రాధాన్యం కూడా లేకపోవడంతో అతను మొక్కుబడిగా లాగించేశాడు. ఐతే నేపథ్య సంగీతం విషయంలో మాత్రం జిబ్రాన్ తన ప్రత్యేకతను చాటుకున్నాడు. 

Naga Shaurya is one of the talented actors we have today in the Telugu film industry. After shining in a key role of Samantha's Oh Baby, Shaurya now comes up with his own movie titled Aswathama.

Naga Shourya is truly an asset to this movie. The actor carried the entire film on his shoulders and did a good job in essaying his role. Mehreen Pirzada not only looked gorgeous but also impressed with ber performance.

The movie starts off on an interesting note. The entire first half revolves around character introductions as well as the story establishment. The interval twist will increase the expectations.
