Adirindi

'Adirindi' is a film that's hard to explain, but not hard to follow. Be it the flashy visuals, the power-packed dialogues, the adrenaline-filled fight sequences or the socially-conscious questions (especially about the corruption in the medical profession) and twists and turns, it's something that one needs to bear witness to.  Vijay does a great job in his roles, with his and Nithya Menen's performances being the highlight of the film.

Go watch this film if you're thirsting for some good ol' entertainment injected with a massive dose of reality. 

A passable mass entertainer

Vijay has played three roles that of a father and two sons. The movie entirely works on the charisma and performance of Vijay.Cinematography is excellent. The film has grand settings, rich production values and excellent work by the film's cinematographer.The controversial GST dialogues are muted in the final speech that also dampens the impact. All in all, “Adirindhi” is a passable mass entertainer.

అదిరింది.. రొటీన్ గా సా....గే ఆరవ సినిమా

త్రిపాత్రాభినయంలో విజయ్ ఓకే అనిపించాడు. అతడి నటన మాస్ ప్రేక్షకుల్ని ఆకట్టుకునేలా సాగుతుంది. లుక్ పరంగా చూస్తే వర్తమానంలో కనిపించే రెండు పాత్రల్లో వైరుధ్యం ఏమీ లేదు. ఐతే ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ పాత్రలో లుక్.. నటన భిన్నంగా అనిపిస్తాయి. హీరోయిన్లలో నిత్యా మీనన్ క్యారెక్టర్ పర్వాలేదు. ‘అదిరింది’ సాంకేతిక హంగులు బాగానే అనిపిస్తుంది. ఎ.ఆర్.రెహమాన్ నేపథ్య సంగీతం సినిమాకు ఆకర్షణ. పాటలు తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులకు అంతగా కనెక్ట్ కాకపోవచ్చు. ఏ పాటలోనూ లిరిక్స్ వినిపించవు. పాటల్లో తమిళ వాసనలు కూడా ఎక్కువయ్యాయి. ఐతే అసలే రొటీన్ కథను ఎంచుకున్న అట్లీ.. దాన్ని చాలా సుదీర్ఘంగా చెప్పాడు. దీంతో చాలా చోట్ల ప్రేక్షకుల ఆసక్తి సన్నగిల్లిపోతుంది. ముఖ్యంగా ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ ఎపిసోడ్లో అతను నిరాశ పరిచాడు.

Vijay is undoubtedly the biggest pillar and carries the entire film on his shoulders. The way he has portrayed all his roles is quite enticing. Vijay was especially good in the role of a village head. Even though the crucial flashback episode is very good, it is painfully slow. Director Atlee takes his sweet time to bring up the main issue. This is also the time where the film has some heavy Tamil flavor which might bog down the Telugu audience a bit. Surprisingly, A R Rahman’s music is disappointing as not even one song manages to register. But A R’s background score is terrific and elevates the heroism to another level. On the whole, Adirindi is an intense masala entertainer which deals with the discrepancies in the medical field. Vijay’s one-man show, good first half and super strong emotions hold the film for most of the time. The film has very nicely placed mass elements which will keep the fans interested.
