Nagarjuna Akkineni

Akkineni Nagarjuna is an Indian Actor/Producer and entrepreneur known for his all round charisma for acting and producing some of the flagship movies. He is the son of Akkineni Nageshwar Rao, who is a legendary hero of Tollywood first generation. Nagarjuna started his career with Vikram and has done over 90 films. He currently owns 'Annapurna Studios', a film studio and production company, which has been producing several small and large films alike.His first spouse was Lakshmi, Venkatesh's sister and the couple parted ways after some time. He then married Amala, who's a co-star in his film Siva who is a renowned member of Blue Cross society. He has two sons, Naga Chaitanya (mother Laxmi) and Akhil (mother Amala), both are currently working as Actors in Tollywood. Best movies in his career include Siva, Geethanjali, Annamayya, Ninne Pelladatha and Manam.

Nagarjuna began acting as a child artist in the 1967 Telugu film Sudigundalu directed by veteran Adurthi Subbarao. It starred his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the lead role.
