Biography
Born on 23 November 1986 in Chennai to Akkineni Nagarjuna and Lakshmi Daggubati. Naga Chaitanya was an enthusiastic bass and keyboard player during his school age. He later went on to get trained in acting, martial arts, and Telugu diction before debuting in his film Josh (2009). He was well received by the Akkineni fans for his roles in Ye Maya chesave,100% love, Tadakha, Manam and Yuddham Saranam. The star was nominated 5 times as an actor and won 3 of them (SIIMA, cineMAA, Film fare)
Chai married his co-star and top Tollywood actress Samantha on October 6th in Goa. His father Akkineni Nagarjuna was among the top 4 super stars of Tollywood and his Grand Father Akkineni Nageswara Rao was one of the legends of Tollywood. His half brother Akhil Akkineni(Mother - Amala) and cousins Rana, Susanth and Sumanth are actors as well.
