Biography
Karthi is a popular Tamil hero and younger brother of hero Surya and son of Sivakumar. Karthi made his debut with the film 'Paruthiveeran(2007) and won huge critical acclaim for his titular role. Karthi went on to make several films which gained a huge fan base for the star as ayirathil oruvan, Paiyaa, Biryani, Naan Mahaan alla and so on..Karthi is known for his versatile script selection and being able to carry good emotions even in mundane scenes.
Kathi also assisted director Maniratnam in the film Aayutha Ezhuthu as an assistant director instead of playing one of the lead roles as Arjun. Karthi has a good fan following among Telugu audience as well for his films Yuganikiokkadu, Na Peru Shiva and Aavara
