Biography
A.R.Rahman is a world-renowned music composer/singer who works across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film industries. The ace musician made his debut with Mani Ratnam's Roja in 1990 and was very well recognized for his promising talent. He produced music for some of the biggest blockbusters like Roja, Dil se, Rockstar, Rang De Basanti, Robo and Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.
Rahman won Oscar for his scores in Slumdog Millionaire and was awarded Padma Bhushan (Third highest Indian civilian honor) and named among 100 most influential musicians in the world. Rahman is closely associated with directors Mani Ratnam and S.Shankar and produced music for all of their films.
