You Will Not Notice Varun in Valmiki- Varun Tej

Valamiki film directed by Harish Shankar starring mega prince Varun Tej, Pooja Hedge as hero and heroine. Under 14 reels banner Ram achanta, Gopichand Achanta produced this film which is scheduled to release on september 20. In this regard hero varun tej participated in press meet and shared the movie highlights.

How valmiki movie came on to sets?

Harish Shankar had approached me with love story,I said after love films like fidda and tholiprema movie I wanted to do different zonor movie. He asked whether i watched 'Jigarthanda' movie,then i answered that i have watched. 

Will there be any difference between 'Jigarathanda' and 'Valmiki'?

Yes, 50% changes have been made from the original script. To elevate the role of gaddhalakonda ganesh and  to join pooja hedge's character and how he turns to gaddhalakonda ganesh likewise a flashback episode has been added in valamiki movie.remaining part of the movie has been made from flavour of Jigaratanda movie.

Having hero image doing the role of villain shade wouldn’t be any risk?

Knowing that i am doing this role, industry friends and well wishers have denied me and argued it would be risk. But i have belief in script and moreover i met megastar Chiranjeevi and took advice from him, he said story was good.

How did you prepare yourself for Telagana slang?

In this movie my role is Gaddhalakonda Ganesh who speaks in Telagana slang. in this regard director harish shankar has helped me a lot. In sets, he has explained me how to deliver dialogue with clarity. With this I also use to prepare myself a day before shooting.

What is the reason to do this movie?

Mainly i like this story and in this movie hero characterization is good. 

Have you imitated Bobby Simha mannerism from original movie?

No, if I imitate natural flavor of role goes and doesn’t look different. but even though you will find some of the shades because he has nailed the character. He had won the national award for this role. Mostly i perform in my own mannerism.

What is your opinion about producers?

It was happy to work with 14reels banner. These producers are passionate in movie making. Since from last two years we are trying to make film in this banner and it happened with Valmiki movie.

Tell about heroine Pooja hedge?

Four years back she acted with me in Mukunda film, now again we paired up in this movie. In these four years, acting wise she has gained lot of maturity. She had done 100% justice to Devi role in the film. 

Harish want to do Chiranjeevi biopic, do you like to act?

Harish didn't say that he would do that film with me. It will be good if Charan bro do that film. If he doesn't do, I'll do it.

Tell us about your next projects?

A movie is coming up in boxing background. I have listened three scripts.
