Rajamouli’s magnum opus Bahubali is one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian Cinema and has raked great numbers at the world box office. The film’s story and main plot are based on the Hindu epic Mahabharata and is very easy to see the influence in the film. While director Rajamouli himself admits to drawing inspiration from Amar Chitra Katha and other sources, there is a newly found revelation from the film’s climax. The climax scene from Bahubali 2, where Bhallala Deva rides his chariot into Shivudu, is one of the most memorable frames from the film. The inspiration for the scene comes from a statue of Ghatotkacha - Karna in Bali, a western Indonesian Island.

A popular lyricist working in Tollywood, who goes by his Facebook name ‘Sira Sri’ has shared the fact and lauded Mr.Rajamouli for turning a piece of world geography into celluloid masterpiece
