The leading producer Allu Aravind who heads the most prestigious production company, Geetha Arts banner, had joined with the biggest production house in Bollywood Prime Focus Banner and Namith Malhotra, for a 1500 crore budget film Ramayan releasing in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Madhu manthena who produced Gajini film successfully in Bollywood is now producing this film. Nitesh Tiwari, who earlier directed Dangal and Ravi Udyawar, who directed Mom, will jointly helm this project. The film is being produced in three parts in three languages. Each part will be produced with a budget of over Rs 500 crore. This is the first time that Geetha Arts has created such a huge image in the South. The shooting of the film will take place from December.

Geetha Arts will never compromise if they like the story. At the time when Telugu films produced with 20 crore budget, Geetha Arts produced Magadhira with a massive budget of 40 crores. It also created a 100 crore record with Aamir Khan's Ghajini.
