Rajamouli’s team wins an award

Director S.S.Rajamouli’s magnum opus The Baahubali saga bagged numerous awards and various honorary screenings. Adding another jewel to the crown, the film was selected during the Indian of the Year award ceremony, held by CNN News 18. But this time, neither the director or the film were the winners, but the team of Baahubali that made the director’s vision possible. The team was awarded ‘Outstanding Achievement’ award and was hailed the biggest Indian dream by the organizers.

While the awards were organized by the CNN, Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley has presented the award to producer Shobhu Yarlagadda and actress Ramya Krishna. Recently, Bahubali has won 14 Nandi awards in various departments and was also screened across the world in France, Moscow and Korea. Also, Baahubali 2 (the conclusion) which is reportedly edited by a Hollywood editor is yet to be released world wide along with the much anticipated VR version of the film.
