Mahanati title and release date announced

Marking the legendary Tollywood actress Savitri's birthday, the team of Mahanati has launched the title first look yesterday. The title reads ‘Mahanati’ in Telugu and has a 3 dimensional quality to it. The beautiful copper plated texture and curvaceous design embodies the golden era of Savitri’s acting career in the early 50’s till 80’s. Pitched against a background of a star-studded night sky, the poster is a subtle way of hinting at the dark times that stifled Savitri’s career. However, this poster is open for interpretation in many ways. The makers have announced the release date of the film along with the first look poster. The film is hitting theatres on 29th March so save the date!!

As known, Keerthy Suresh is playing Savitri in the film and Dulquer Salman is playing her spouse, Gemini Ganeshan. Vijay Devarakonda, Shalini Pandey, Mohan Babu and Prakash Raj are other important actors in the  film.
