Learned a lot from Bunny: Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde who acted in Mukunda and Oka Lail Kosam earlier has acted in DJ as the female lead opposite Allu Arjun. DJ was released on Friday, on this occasion she met the media and shared her experiences with the cast and crew of the film.

What's the reason behind a long gap for you in Telugu movies?

After Mukunda, I got very good opportunities in Telugu movies, as I was working for Mohenjo Daro movie in Bollywood I couldn't work in Telugu films. My earlier characters in Telugu films were very decent. As I wanted to do some contemporary characters, I got DJ offer. Harish Shankar called me and said, you didn't act in my earlier film " Subramanyam for Sale", at least now you should consider this film after listening to the story. As I liked the story, I have signed up for this film.

How do you feel working in Telugu movies?

I have a good relationship with Telugu film industry, I fell like a local girl when I work here. I feel very happy while working for Telugu films.

How do you feel working with Allu Arjun?

He is very jovial in sets, his presence in sets make me comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed his company during this film. He is very energetic. We can learn many things from him, acting wise and dance wise he gave me many tips. I have learned many things with DJ movie.

Tell about your experience with the Director?

He is one of the best directors, his writings are very good. He is very cool on sets. Working with him made me very happy.
