I'm dubbing my voice - Tammanah

Milky beauty Tammanah is a star heroine in Telugu industry who worked with almost top heroes. She grabbed international fame from the movie Bahubhali and she is now playing lead role in the movie Oopiri. Movie is ready for release on this 25th. Few excerpts from her interview...

What is your nature of character?
I work as a personal assistant to a Billionaire. My role is Keerthi, a girl who fits to the present generation.A strong, stubborn and frank girl.My entire attire is in skin tight clothes which caused suffocation.

Are you lending your voice for dubbing?
Yes. I'm have started presenting my voice with this movie. I felt that this is the right time for dubbing. I expressed my view to Vamshi Paidipally and I have started with this movie. If audience accept my voice in this movie, I'm going to dub my voice in coming future. Movie is bilingual but I'm not dubbing in Tamil version.

Have you watched the original movie?
We cannot definitely say that it's a remake of French movie Intouchables. We have just adopted the movie and made this "Oopiri". My character has been completely changed. Fact is I didn't watch the French movie but I got to know about that by listening to the discussions at the sets.

Your experience working with Nagarjuna garu?
It's very difficult to sit in a wheel chair as a paralyzed person. Nagarjuna garu played a challenging role. He is very inspiring and I wish we are going to see lot of difference in Telugu industry. It's truly bilingual movie and two big heroes from two different industries are acting in this. I'm from Bombay and in this few artists are from Telugu industry and the other are from Tamil.

Why are you working in less number of movies?
Everyone are asking me the same but Oopiri took almost an year and I cannot say how long Bahubhali is going to take. I'm working with Prabhu Deva garu, this movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.I'm acting in bilingual movies which is killing more number of days. I'll not count the number of movies I'm acting in. I consider whether the movie is good or not..

Are you doing different kind of characters?
Yeah....In Bahubhali I played the role of a warrior and in this movie I'm playing role of a western girl. I just want to prove myself as a versatile actress.

Are you going to work in item songs?
I'll work in special songs only if I feel like doing. But I'll definitely not wait for them.

Did you find any difference in Karthi?
I have worked with Karthi in two movies. As an actor Karthi is really good. Usually an actor either goes in methodical way or spontaneous way but Karthi is an actor who tries to balance both of them.
