Young hero Naga Shourya’s latest film ‘Chalo’ is releasing on 2nd February and the actress Rashmika Mandanna spoke to the media.
What’s your role in the film?
I did my 10th schooling in Coorg and did my degree in Bengaluru. That’s when I received an offer for ‘Kirik Party’ and I became a heroine as the film was a hit
What did you most like about ‘Chalo’?
Any film needs a good story and that’s what I liked about this film too. I felt this film would be a good launch and the whole team has supported me. The whole film experience was that of a picnic
What’s your character in the film?
Its a regular character where a girl from an orthodox family studies in a college. Everyone can relate to the character
Reason for doing the film?
I really liked the story of the film and immediately agreed to do it after the director approached me. That’s why I did the film
Your experience of first Telugu film?
I fell very lucky and happy that I’m making my debut with a good story and screenplay. I cannot forget the experience of working under Ira Creations banner
Reason for the title?
It was my idea to name the film ‘Chalo’ and you’ll know that the title is apt, after watching the scenes between me and Naga Shourya
Next projects?
I’m currently making a film with Vijay Devarakonda and a few other projects in Kannada as well
