I Didn't Think in That Way to Impress the Audience-Rahul Ravindran

King Nagarjuna and Rukul Preet Singh starring as the main lead roles in the film Manmadhudu 2 directed by Rahul Ravindran. Nagarjuna Akkineni and P. Kiran are producing the movie in association with Viacom18 Studios.  The film released on August 9. On this occasion, Rahul Ravindran spoke to media.

Did you get frightened when Nagarjuna said to remake a French film?

I didn't get frightened when Nagarjuna said to remake a French film. But I worried about rights. He said that we had the rights. According to Annapurna Studios' planning, the consent process is over.

The reason for putting this title Manmadhudu 2?

I don't know who said but my team members suggested the title. Since the title of 'Manmadhudu' is the same hero film, there is a chance that the audience will be confused. So we named Manmadhudu 2. There is a good emotion in the film. I hope that the audience will connect somewhere.

How did you get the chance to work with Nagarjuna?

Geetha suggested me to make the film. Nagarjuna sir called me and gave the opportunity to direct the film after watching Chi La Sow. He said to watch the French film once and if you like it we will take the film.

Why are so many words in the movie muted by the sensor?

Not a single scene in this movie is vulgar. I didn't think in that way to impress the audience. Each dialogue is written with a single meaning. There is no double meaning anywhere. 

Why did you take Lakshmi?

Nag sir and I decided all the characters. But I particularly wanted Lakshmi for that role.

What about the music director?

Music Director Chaitan Bhardwaj is a very hard worker. He gave very good music. 

What about Nagarjuna's character?

Nagarjuna's character does not have hope on Relations. He will attract women by giving respect.

Are you doing a movie with Daggubati Abhiram?

There is no such thing doing a movie with Daggubati Abhiram. I don't know where all these gossips are coming from. I have never personally approached anyone.
