‘I didn’t pay them a penny’ - Krishna Vamsi

Director Krishna Vamsi is coming back with a cop - action entertainer ’Nakshatram’ after a near 2 years. As the film is closing in on the release date, The director thanked the stars who made it possible. “The budget has gone out of hand than the initial figures. We had a hard time understanding and adapting to demonetisation and this held back the shoot. At this time, I requested few of my close friends and stars to act in my film with no remuneration. Prakash raj, Sai Dharam Tej, J.D Chakravarthy, Shivaji Raja, Tanish and Raghu babu have all did me a favor”.

He added, “Out of our friendship, I rang up Prakash Raj and asked If he would act in a film for nothing. He attended the sets the very next day! Sai Dharam said ‘Why are even talking about the money?’.” Supposedly, Krishna Vamsi himself is one of the producers in the film and worked with out remuneration.
