I Became Thin for Venkymama - Rashi Khanna

Venky Mama is a crazy multi starrer project in Tollywood. Victory Venkatesh and Yuva Samrat Akkineni Nagachitanya are playing the leads in the film. The film is slated for release on December 13th. On the occasion of the movie release, Rashi Khanna spoke to the media.

Did you become thin for any role?

Yes in the meantime I struggled in the gym and lost some weight. Not for the character, We have to maintain our fitness in the glamour industry. Then there is a possibility of doing a variety of roles. So I became a little thin for it.

What is your role in Venky Mama?

My character's name in the movie Venkymama is Harika. I will be seen as a lady director. My character is very good in this movie.

How did you get this film opportunity?

While I was shooting for Vishal's Ayogya, Suresh Babu called me and asked me for a heroine role in Venky Mama. After that, I met him and accepted to do Venky mama.

How was the experience with Naga Chaitanya?

In the past, I played a small role in the film Manam with Chaitu. So the shoot was completed in just one day. But after five years, I got a chance to work with him. Love episodes between me and Chait are very romantic and emotional.

How did you feel working with Venkatesh?

Amazing. Everyone knows his comedy timing is awesome. His expressions are unique. I learned a lot from him. I am a big fan of him.

How important is your role in this film with two heroes?

I will be seen in the filmmaker character named Harika. My character and theme are very well designed. My role in the film is also crucial.

In the meantime are you dubbing yourself for your role?

I am very interested in singing from my childhood. That's why I was interested in dubbing. I made dubbing for my character for World Famous Lover. But being busy in a different shoot at that time, I couldn't say dubbing for this film. I will continue dubbing from now on.

Are you doing a web series?

Many people are now working on web series. If I get a good role I will definitely do.

What about your next films?

Currently, I am waiting for the releases of Venky Mama and Prathi Roju Pandage.
