“Hats off to Chiranjeevi” - Shivaji Raja

After learning about the deteriorating Kidney failure issue of veteran comedian Gundu Hanumanta Rao, on the T.V show ‘Ali to Jolly ga’, Megastar Chiranjeevi has responded. The hero called up the president MAA (Movie Artist’s Association), Shivaji Raja and handed over a cheque for 2 lakh rupees and asked to make sure the cheque reached Mr.Hanumanta Rao. Maa joint secretary Edida Sree Ram and Cultural committee chairman Suresh Kondeti and Executive member Suresh have reached Apollo hospital and handed over the cheque. Ignoring his condition, Mr.Hanumanta Rao spoke to Mr.Chiranjeevi for quite a while with good amount of excitement.

Similarly, Mrs.Surekha, Chiranjeevi’s spouse was moved to tears after learning about the poor financial situation of another veteran comedian Mr.Potti Veerayya. She called up Mr.Potti Veerayya along with Mr.Shivaji raja and Edida Sree Ram and handed over a cheque for 2 lakh rupees.

MAA President Shivaji Raja said... “Two days ago, Mr.Chiranjeevi called me up to his residence in an emergency tone. While I and Sree Ram got there, he said ‘Looks like Gundu Hanumanta Rao and Potti Veerayya are in trouble. Please give these 2 lakh rupee cheques to each of them.’ With in half an hour, we made sure the cheques reached their recipients. Mr.Chiranjeevi was very happy. He also said ‘Whoever is in trouble, let us help them in the best way we can’ and I’m happy as an actor for this. Hats off to Chiranjeevi“
