Spyder

Mahesh is the biggest asset for the film. His screen presence and intense acting will impress the audience completely.Spyder is a decent action thriller which has some very interesting moments throughout. Mahesh Babu’s rocking performance and Surya’s menacing act will surely impress you big time.

The director doesn't even exploit the contrasting acting styles of his hero and villain to the full - the understated, almost Zen-like acting style of Mahesh Babu and the over-the-top, but crowd-pleasing performance of SJ Suryah.

Mahesh Babu is superb in his role as an employee of Intelligence Bureau and he emotes well in emotional sequences.Spyder is a movie which runs on a conflict between a good guy who wants to save people from the problems created by other people to them and a bad guy who literally is a psycho who is fascinated by the cries of people and who enjoys the sound and emotion of crying.

In spite of the limited scope for the Shiva role, Mahesh Babu did well.S J Surya as Bhairava is a perfect fit for the role, very convincing acting as the psychopath killer.

Mahesh Babu gives his best to the role and comes up with a stunning performance.S J Surya as a guy who derives satisfaction from other’s death is terrific. “Spyder” has interesting first half, and some neatly packed episodes but it lets down totally as it is neither the best movie from Murugadoss, nor a good one for Mahesh Babu.

మహేష్ బాబు ఎప్పట్లాగే సిన్సియర్ ఎఫర్ట్ పెట్టాడు. అతడి నటనకు వంక పెట్టడానికి లేదు. మహేష్ స్క్రీన్ ప్రెజెన్స్ సూపర్బ్. అతడి లుక్ కూడా బాగా ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది.విలన్ ఎస్.జె.సూర్య మాత్రం అదరగొట్టేశాడు. ఈ పాత్రను అంత సులువుగా మరిచిపోలేం. సూర్యను తొలిసారి చూపించే సన్నివేశంలో అతడి హావభావాలు పిచ్చెక్కించేస్తాయి.మహేష్ పాత్ర విషయంలో మురుగదాస్ నిరాశ పరిచాడు. మహేష్ స్థాయికి తగ్గ కథ ఇది కాదనిపిస్తుంది. మురుగదాస్ సినిమాల్లో ఎప్పుడూ ఉండే ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ ఇందులో మిస్సయింది.

Mahesh Babu is good as usual. It is what the audience expects from him, and he delivers it diligently.More content on that lines with grandeur in thoughts rather than tasteless action visuals would have worked wonders for the film.
