writer-director Sujeeth takes you through a maze of twists and turns before he gets there. Pegged as India's biggest action thriller, 'Saaho' gets into the action mode pretty early on.

Among the many villains, Chunky Pandey as Devraj stands out with a very convincing portrayal of his evil character. The rest come off as mere caricatures, who fail to make an impact.

Overall, Saaho attempts at being a potboiler that fires in all directions to entertain the audience. There are so many twists and turns that it leaves you more exhausted than excited.

The much awaited Indian film of the year, Saaho which features Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nithin Mukesh is all set for a grand opening worldwide amid huge expectations.

Underworld don Roy ( Jackie Shroff ) and his rival Devraj ( Chunkey Pandey ) live in a fictious city of Waaji, where the movie is based. The Ageing don Roy hides whereabouts of his son to protect from rivals.

A Grandiose takeoff in Waaji City greets Saaho audience. After that introduction , a parallel story at India begins on dull note. Right from the mighty hero Prabhas’s lukewarm entry scene , by one hour into the movie

‘ Saaho ‘ is a disappointing film at many levels. A supposedly high octane action thriller has gone wrong , suffered badly by a confusing screenplay. Young director Sujeeth has done gross injustice to Prabhas , his sky high image.

Rebel Star Prabhas returns to the big screen after a long gap of two years. Due to his long absence and that too in a modern avatar (Mirchi came way back in 2013), the onscreen presence is appealing.

Young director Sujeeth has got a massive opportunity like no one else before in Telugu cinema, courtesy of Saaho.

Overall, Saaho is stylishly made, but incredibly dull fare. The making reflects a pan-India approach, but sensibilities and content are neither here and nor there. A rich camouflage can never conceal the inherent hollowness.

The film is set in the backdrop of Waaji city which is ruled by Roy(Jackie Shroff). This does not go well with other members of the mafia and they try to eliminate Roy. During the same time, huge money is being robbed off from Devaraj(Chunkey Pandey) who runs the opposite gang.

What surprises you with Saaho is the sheer scale of the film. The makers have gone all out and every penny spent is showcased wonderfully on-screen.

Prabhas does his part well but his makeup, hairstyle and costumes in many areas is not up to the mark as the star hero looks lazy and dull in a few scenes.

An union minister gets kidnapped by a mafia gang that run from Waaji city (fictionalized). An undercover cop Ashok Chakravarathy (Prabhas) comes into the scene. In Mumbai, some robberies happened.

To come out from the royal warrior look of ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Baahubali 2’ and present himself as modern-day action star is not that easy. Prabhas has chosen a role that suits well to his image and body language.

From the very first sequence, ‘Saaho’ establishes the fact that movie is a mega-budgeted action drama, with focus on lavish sets, high production values and well-known Bollywood stars featuring in small roles.

After the blockbuster result of the magnum opus Baahubali series, action hero Prabhas returns to silver screen with an action packed avatar in Sujeeth directorial Saaho.

Prabhas was looking all-time worst on screen, he was looking weak, sleep-deprived, as if he came from the hospital for shooting while Shraddha Kapoor is a perfect foil as she tries hard to emote.

After making just one movie Run Raja Run, director Sujeeth has got a massive opportunity to direct a grand action entertainer Saaho and the director seems to have fumbled.

Touted to be the biggest action thriller in India, the movie Saaho is finally in the theatres. Young Rebel Star Prabhas is playing the lead role while Shraddha Kapoor is making her debut in South with the movie.

Prabhas has delivered his career-best performance in this movie and it is evident that no one can pull off such an intense and challenging role with such ease. The way Prabhas has carried his character will definitely leave an impact on the audience.

Before the release of the film, most of the audience have a doubt that how a director like Sujeeth who is just one movie old can make a high budget action thriller with a star hero. But, with the output of this film, Sujeeth has failed to live up to expectations of the movie.

Sujeeth's Saaho, made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 crore, is a big dumb action movie that strains to fulfill every adjective describing the genre. Big? Check. Dumb? VERY. Action? You can see where the money went (not on the writing, no).

There's a battle of succession among the gangster groups of Waaji with Rs 2 lakh crore at stake, and it's a bunch of Indian cops based in Mumbai who are on their track.

The casting directors of Saaho probably camped at gyms across the world and picked up whoever looked sufficiently bulky. Excess muscled persons of every skin tone and race – who all magically understand Telugu – walk, run, crash, and die out of the screenplay at regular intervals, making little impact or sense.

Well Short Of Expectations!

Waajirn City is being ruled by Mafia Don Roy (Jackie Shroff). Key Members of rnthis Mafia Gang gets rid of Roy and the Black Box containing key for thern locker with lakhs of crores goes missing.

Prabhasrn has done everything possible while carrying the film on his shoulders. rnHowever, All of his efforts went in vein due to lack of good rncharacterization. Even his look in few scenes isn't pleasing to watch.

Notrn even a single song in Saaho album is impressive. In fact, Audience get rnthe feeling that the film should have been released sans songs. They rndamaged the flow of the movie at regular intervals.
