For Balayya Fans

Balakrishna is the biggest asset of this film. He is seen in two different roles and has given a tremendous performance. He has danced supremely well in the Ammkuty song which will be a treat for his fans.Nayanthara gets a meaty role once again and gives a lot of depth to the film with her sincere acting. The way her role has been designed with a lot of emotional touch is pretty good.  On the whole, Jai Simha is a typical mass masala entertainer in true Balakrishna style.

The added advantage of the film is the emotional angle during the climax

Delight for his fans

Bala Krishna Nandamuri as Narasimha is superb. He excelled in his dialogues, action sequences and emotional sequences. Nayanathara as Gowri is superb and she lived up to the hype and she is gorgeous. All other actors did a fine job according to their roles.

Director relied most on the family sequences and they work well with family audience. To sum up, Jai Simha is a family drama from NBK and K S Ravi Kumar combination.

Boring and Stale

The film is mass movie and the cinematography, artwork and action stunts are all massy. Though Tamil director K S Ravi Kumar has given many hits in the past, his narrative style has lost its relevance for today’s generation. Balakrishna’s energetic steps in couple of songs, Nayanathara’s screen presence in some sequences and pre-interval scenes are the only saving grace of this old-fashioned masala movie.

Some episodes may appeal to Balakrishna’s fans and audiences in B and C centers, but it doesn’t work with the regular movie-going viewers.

Spice-less Masala Entertainer

Jai Simha has a predictable story with a small twist. Balakrishna plays a character that he has done million times before. Nayantara looks and acts well as one expects from her.

Overall, Jai Simha is a predictable average masala fare made in an old style.

Balayya-mark Formulaic Film!

Balakrishna entertains his fans and masses thoroughly with 'Jai Simha', be it performance, dialogues, dances and fights. Nayantara left a mark of her own with her screen presence and acting abilities.

Sentiment Scenes involving the Infant hits the right chord. Family Audience might appreciate them. Overall, 'Jai Simha' is only for hardcore Balayya Fans.

Sentiment Simham!

KS Ravi Kumar's screenplay and execution makes it feel like we are watching a twenty year old film. Chirantan Bhatt's background score is very loud. On a whole, Jai Simha is a disappointing film from the veteran superstar that may appeal to his diehard fans and the B and C centers audience.

Moderate costs and festival period should help it on the commercial front.
