Devadas

As expected, one of the biggest highlights of the film is the bromance between Nagarjuna and Nani. Whenever the star heroes are on screen things look quite lively and entertaining. 

The story of the film is just about okay as the makers have put more emphasis on the star value of Nani and Nagarjuna.

On the whole, Deva Das is a decent multi starrer which clicks because of Nagarjuna and Nani’s good screen presence.

Nagarjuna and Nani are the two leads in the movie. The former plays a star, larger than life role whereas the latter is supporting emotional anchor.
 

DevaDas is Sriram Aditya‘s third film after Bhale Manchi Roju and Shamantakamani. As far as the story is concerned, it continues the wafer-thin plots of the previous outings.

Music by Mani Sharma is alright with a couple of songs being really good. It is the background score where he stands out as is expected of him.

 

Devadas is the crazy multistarrer starring Nani and Nagarjuna in the leads. The film is carrying a good buzz in the film industry as the makers came up with an impressive trailer cut.

Nani, as usual, has delivered a natural performance and impressed in the character of an innocent doctor.

Despite not having a solid story, the director concentrated more on entertainment element and engaging the audience with comedy. 

We are introduced to Deva (Akkineni Nagarjuna), a dreaded gangster who's is baying for blood after his mentor is brutally killed by a rival gang.

But while Devadas starts off well, it's hampered by an overdose of melodrama as the film progresses, with the sincere doc trying to convince the don to leave the life of crime.

Devadas certainly has its moments with some cracking humour and solid performances by its two stars.

The film is laced with brilliant performances from everyone. The director must be appreciated for selecting the right actors for all the characters in the movie.

The film has top class technicians and they have delivered amazing output from their respective crafts.

The film’s music is a major asset and Mani Sharma has given an amazing audio album for the film. ‘Devadas’ don’t have a strong story to tell but the director focussed more on entertainment alone.

నాగార్జున డాన్ పాత్రలో కొంచెం కొత్తగా కనిపించాడు. ఆయన స్క్రీన్ ప్రెజెన్స్ బాగుంది.‘ఆఫీసర్’లో మాదిరి కాకుండా కొంచెం మంచి జోష్ తో కనిపించాడు నాగ్. చాన్నాళ్ల తర్వాత అభిమానుల్ని అలరించే రీతిలో

దర్శనమిచ్చాడాయన. మణిశర్మ పాటలు గొప్పగా లేవు. అలాగని తీసి పడేసేలా లేవు. ‘వారు వీరు..’ పాట.. దాని చిత్రీకరణ చాలా బాగున్నాయి. సినిమాలో ఇదొక హైలైట్. ఇంకో మంచి పాట ‘ఏదో ఏదో’ను కట్ చేసి పడేశారు.
