First half of the film has ample elements to appeal family audience. Trivikram did not try to generate his trade mark comedy but sticks to the core story without any deviation. Butta Bomma’ song is the good one from first half. Allu Arjun, Pooja thread is cool.

Allu Arjun is back and how! The stylish star gives an excellent performance. His one liners, stylish & cool dance moves and performance will surely be a treat for his fans. Pooja Hegde is beauty personified.

Over all, it is full packed perfect Sankranthi gift for all the movie lovers out there. Trivikram is back with a bang. It’s visual treat and eye feast during Pongal. A must watch.

Allu Arjun went under the skin of the character and has delivered his best performance. Bunny who is known to appear in different looks in each movie sported an interesting look

Director Trivikram can make any story interesting with his comedy timing. Even in this film, Trivikram focused more on the story than entertainment in this film.

Just like every movie, Allu Arjun played a different kind of role in this movie as well and we can say that his energetic performance will make the audience stick to the chairs from the start to the end.

Allu Arjun is back after a very long gap. Bantu is a tailor made role for him as it is an all round character that gives scope to cater to all sections. Allu Arjun has made a meal out of it. His flawless performance is the mainstay of AVPL even in the sequences that are just passable.

Trivikram has been sticking to family drama since Attarintiki Daredi. He tried to switch genres in Agnyathavaasi that ended up as a disaster and we missed his trademark humor in Aravindha Sametha.

The master dialogue writer and crafty filmmaker Trivikram used his strengths in presenting the film in such a cool manner without going overboard even at one instance.

Ala Vaikunthapurramloo Story: Bantu (Allu Arjun) grows up seeking validation from a cold-hearted father Valmiki (Murli Sharma) who puts him down at every step of his life.

The film is not without its issues. While the romance that ensues between Amulya (Pooja Hegde) and Bantu is adorable, especially Thaman S’ numbers Samajavaragamana and Butta Bomma, the way it all begins is extremely problematic.

Thaman S’ music and background score for this one is impressive (Ramuloo Ramulaa and OMG Daddy are killer) and the cinematography by PS Vinod is good.

The story idea is very good and Trivikram has given his own spin to the film with solid dialogues and breezy narration.

The villain’s track is a bit weak as a talented actor like Samutrakani has not been used well actually. The so called hero-villain moments are just about okay and do not create much impact.

On the whole, Ala Vaikunthapuramlo is a full on solid family entertainer that ticks all the boxes right. Be it the story, dialogues, fights, romance and music, this film has it all and will be loved by the audience this Sankranthi.

Valmiki ( Murali Sharma ) swaps his new born baby with his millionaire boss Ramachandra( Jayaram)’s baby, in a hospital. Only evidence for the swap is a nurse who goes to coma after the incident.

After establishing the premise of baby swapping, director Trivikram simultaneously narrates a middle class family life style, a rich family problems until the protagonist knows about his original parents.

Allu Arjun has excelled as Bantu. He neatly delivered performance as middle-class youngster as well as in the second half. After taking a long break, Allu Arjun delivers in a tailor made role.
