One of the biggest strengths is the subject that has been used for this thriller. The missing cases of dead bodies and how a small time detective gets into it has been thought of well and looks quite novel.

The director drags the film a bit in the last 15 minutes. The suspense is broken by then and just to nab the criminals, the director added many scenes which make the film slow.

On the whole, Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya is an impressive thriller which has good suspense and taut narration. Naveen Polishetty makes an impact with his lovable performance.

Sai Srinivas Atreya (Naveen) is a private detective who is looking for a big case to become famous. He comes across the case of unidentified deaths that are increasing in number.

Naveen Polishetty who did a few web series and small characters before has played the lead role in this. It is a very challenging character that is not easy to pull off.

Agent Sai Srinivas Atreya opens on a funny note with the lead character looking like a clown in the crime scene. Despite being a rookie and appearing a bit comedic, Atreya is intelligent enough to piece the evidences together to solve any crime.

The teaser and the trailer of the film had projected Atreya as a funny detective who may well be dumb.  On the contrary, he turns out to be way too smart, connecting the dots in a jiffy.

The director should have built unique sensibilities around the many dead bodies shown in the film.  There is no shock value in the way things are narrated.  Atreya breaks down when he learns something shocking about his mother.

'Agent Sai Srinivas Atreya' dishes out light-veined scenes and serious moments in equal measure.  Only that the second half could have been much more effective, dramatic and crisp.

Naveen Polishetty had earlier acted in shows made for the web and Youtube. This must have given him enough experience to act natural and casual. Naveen has shown lot of variety in his performance in this very first film as lead actor.

Film is made on a shoestring budget. So, cinematography and production values are bare minimum.

Despite all this, “Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya” makes an interesting watch and introduces a talented actor in the form of Naveen Polishetty.

Despite being a debutant, Naveen Polishetty will definitely impress the audience with his outstanding performance in this film. Especially, his dialogue delivery and facial expressions are also really good.

Director Swaroop RSJ has prepared an interesting story with a comical touch for this film. The film will have some light-hearted and funny moments as well as some emotional and heart touching scenes and the director has handled them both really well.

The story itself is the highlight of this film. The solid story makes the audience engaged throughout the film. The movie starts off on an interesting note. The entire first half is light-hearted and extremely funny at times. The interval twist will also grab the attention of the audience.

Agent Athreya (Naveen Polishetty) is a detective grieving his dead mother and running a detective agency called FBI (you will want to watch the film to know why it’s named as such) from a vegetable market in Nellore.

Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya is the kind of film that acts like a slow burn. You go in expecting a few jokes here and there and maybe a case that’s not as complicated as the one you’re shown, but something that our hero manages to solve and save the day.

While Swaroop delivers a sound film, Mark K Robin’s music and Sunny Kurapati’s cinematography help set the mood in many scenes.

After playing a few supporting and bit roles, actor Navin Polishetty makes full-fledged solo hero transformation with Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya.

Everyone loves reading detective stories and shows high inclination in watching them. But when it comes to actual movies, the success rate is very low, and hardly a few are made in years.

The music by Mark K Robin is okay. It is the background score that is important, and he gives a trendy and slick output on that front.

Sai Srinivas Atreya (Naveen Polishetty) is a private criminal investigator who lives in Nellore. He doesn't have any work and eagerly awaits an interesting case. One day, he gets arrested in a suspicious case and reaches Ongole.

Naveen Polishetty will definitely grab the attention of the audience with his mesmerizing performance. Though this is debut movie, Naveen Polishetty has shown maturity in his acting. Even his dialogue delivery and facial expressions are also good.

Good performances, music and interesting screenplay can be considered as the major plus points for this film. However, the slow-paced narration in the first half is the major setback of the film.
