Ravi Babu is good in his role of sixpack Shankar. The comedy derived from his character and the manner in which he chases the piglet looks decent.

On the whole, Adhugo does not live up to all the hype that has been created prior to the film’s release.

Interjected in this story are numerous tales, multiple characters and some unnecessary song and dance – all crammed into a span of less than two hours.

For a film that has a run-time of less than 2 hours, the screenplay penned by Sathyanand sure makes it seem longer.

Watch this one just for Bunty, if at all. If over-the-top and tacky scenes put you off, give this one a cold, hard miss.

The piglet is definitely the show stealer of this film. The cute piglet can be seen in almost every scene which is a delight to watch.

The visual effects have played a crucial role. The team did a spectacular job. The production values are luxurious.

Billed to be a comedy entertainer, ‘Adhugo’ failed to make the audience laugh. For the sake of comedy, they added some disgusting acts which are not really funny.

Performances of all the actors are bad to worse. Nabha Natesh of "Nannu Dochukunduvate" has played silly role.

Ravi Babu is known for making different and interesting movies like 'Anasuya', and 'Nachavule'.

Piglet Comedy that failed

The idea to make a live animation film is commendable and the story premise has been deliberately put simple.

‘Adhugo ‘is a disappointing fare. This 110 minutes short duration film fails to make audience laugh. However, with no other engaging elements, ADHUGO is a skippable film.

Abhishek Varma has a boyish charm, and that’s about the only positive that can be said about him.

Ravi Babu has a unique style that can be easily made out just by watching few scenes.

The title song feels okay after a few listens, but it’s not part of the actual film. Overall, the music is unremarkable including the background score.
